If God has all power then I have no power apart from God's power working through me. So any and all strength I have must come from God. He is the source. I realize this strength by seeking Him. Just when I think I have found Him and I can rest, He taps on my heart and asks me to look a little deeper -- to seek some more. It's a never-ending process.
God does not give me His strength until the very moment I need it. If I already have all the strength and confidence I need to get through any ordeal, where would the faith be? No, instead I must trust that whatever predicament I get myself into, it's His job to get me out. He has never let me down.
Today I'm trying to learn that God's
strength is not only available to me for the big challenges like my wife's
health, but He is there to help me through the tiny, every day problems
of life. All I have to do is let Him.
