I love AA and I love alcoholics. I love seeing newcomers crawl into meetings for the first time frightened and worn out and love seeing them get their lives back and sail proudly out of the safety of the AA harbor. I believe in the power of the Steps because I've seen countless changes for the better in me -- a lot less fear and a lot more peace. I like to put my hand out to others because it feels good. It gives my Higher Power a chance to do His thing through me.
I was graced with an enthusiasm for
AA since the first day I crawled in here myself. I have absolute faith
that as long as I maintain this enthusiasm and continue doing the things
I've been doing, there is no way I'm gonna drink again. No way.
